George Holloway-Stone

George is a dual qualified construction professional, he is an CIOB qualified Chartered Construction Manager and Associate Building Surveyor of the RICS. He is Director and head of our Major Loss Surveying, Construction and Engineering department and handles all major and complex building related losses.

George graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying and has over ten years’ experience working in private practice with leading multi-disciplinary property firms. Before Joining Harris Balcombe he worked principally as a project manager for Carter Jonas in Oxford, Capita in London and most recently ran a small company offering specialised project management and development services in and around London. He has experience in successfully project managing complex and high net worth projects ranging from the re-development of modern and historic domestic buildings, commercial head office fit outs for international clients and the re-development of industrial and multi-use properties.

After moving into the insurance claims sector, George has negotiated the successful reinstatement and settlement of a wide range of high net worth claims to residential, commercial and industrial properties. His knowledge of construction and surveying ensures that property damage claims are correctly assessed, presented and negotiated with insurers and their appointed loss adjusters.
