Harris Balcombe appoints three new equity partners

4th October 2018

New leadership approach underpins growth plans for leading claims consultancy firm

Loss assessor and insurance claims consulting firm, Harris Balcombe, has appointed Alex Balcombe, Steven Nock and Jeremy Balcombe as equity partners.

The new partners will join Jonathan Samuelson in leading the firm through its next growth phase.

Alex and Jeremy Balcombe have been with the firm for 12 and 24 years, respectively, and Steven Nock joined the business in May 2018 as a technical director. As a specialist in business interruption and former loss adjuster, Steven’s appointment to the Harris Balcombe team was met with a very positive response from the industry.

Over the last five years, Harris Balcombe has experienced a period of strong growth and an increased demand for its services across the country. The new leadership team is capitalising on this by hiring team members across the business – particularly within its building and domestic divisions.

Jonathan Samuelson (pictured), equity partner and joint head of business interruption, said: “The new leadership team is both experienced and committed to the success of the business. To ensure we continue to provide the highest quality of service to our clients, we are keen to grow our presence in major cities and across the UK; hiring the right people as well as placing a real emphasis on the need for professional qualifications.

“We have and always will seek to enhance the reputation of our sector as we continually strive for best practice and growth and we look forward to this next phase of growth.”
